Pri-Med Online

Studies have shown a large increase in the number of clinicians across the United States seeking online CE. pmiCME conducted an extensive needs assessment in the planning of Pri-Med Online, a new, educational online resource for primary care clinicians launched in September 2004 and available at www.pri-med.com. Categorized by Condition Centers covering key clinical topics, Pri-Med Online provides clinicians with timely and relevant resources including high-quality, fair balanced CE activities, patient education materials, and health news updates.

Pri-Med Print Activities

Introduced in 2004, Pri-Med in Practice is a quarterly CME newsletter delivered to primary care physicians across the US. Sponsored by pmiCME, Pri-Med in Practice features up to seven articles per issue which expand upon content presented at Pri-Med Updates programs. In addition to Pri-Med in Practice, pmiCME will sponsor Pri-Med Pocket Guides, being introduced in 2005. Distributed quarterly, each guide will provide PCPs with brief, concise content focused on specific diseases or conditions to help advance their care and management of patients.

Live Activities sponsored by pmiCME

pmiCME is committed to providing clinically relevant live educational activities for practitioners that will advance the practice of healthcare and enhance patient care and treatment outcomes. pmiCME sponsors Pri-Med live CE programs. Through these programs, educates 35,000 healthcare professionals each year at more than 100 live meetings across the United States.

Pri-Med Conference & Exhibition

Live educational programs at Pri-Med include also Pri-Med Conference & Exhibition, a series of four-day meetings each held once a year in Boston, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Long Beach, Washington, DC, and Houston. The core curriculum, Current Clinical Issues in Primary Care, is developed by a curriculum committee led by the Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Medical Education and presented by faculty from Harvard Medical School in conjunction with other leading medical institutions. In addition, symposia are offered between core curriculum modules.
